This is a compilation of the material work I created for the Tokyo map. Unlike my earlier projects, this map features a more contemporary, urban setting, which required a different design approach to match the city's modern aesthetic.

I focused primarily on creating a variety of tile materials. While tiles often share similar base characteristics, the challenge was to ensure each texture felt distinct and contributed a unique vibe to its environment. It was a fun and rewarding process to experiment with shapes, patterns, and subtle variations in surface detail—finding beauty in the simplicity and repetition of architectural tiling.
